Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of financial services industry experience in a broker/dealer or registered investment advisor environment.
• FINRA Series 65 required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance; or equivalent proven experience.
• Financial services & insurance sales experience preferred.
• Good understanding of finance and investment markets/securities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs financial planning analyses for retirement, investments, estate, tax, education funding, real estate, and risk needs.
• Prepares presentations and materials for client meetings and reviews.
• Identifies new financial planning opportunities through client assessments.
• Provides reports on distributions, performance, billing, insurance policies, and tax implications.
• Calculates required minimum distributions, income needs, tax consequences, and contributions/withdrawals.
• Maintains high-level contact with clients to strengthen relationships.
• Keeps up-to-date on industry products and trends.
