Villines Wealth Management, LLC Tulsa, OK

Immediate on-site opening for an Associate Financial Planner at Villines Wealth Management, a fun and growing Independent Financial Services firm in Tulsa, OK, focused on serving clients with holistic financial services, including Financial Planning, Tax Planning, and Tax-Intelligent Investment Management. Primary responsibilities will be to deliver an exceptional client experience by building and maintaining financial plans for clients, assisting with investment research and portfolio due diligence, meeting and interacting with clients, and other various projects to serve the Firm’s clients. There is potential in the future for the right candidate to grow their own book of business, but our immediate need is to support existing Firm clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  2. The ideal candidate will have successfully completed the SIE, Series 7, Series 66 (or 63 and 65), and Life/Health Insurance License, but candidates who are aggressively pursuing completion of those exams in a reasonably short period of time will also be considered.
  3. CFP or CPA designations will also be a plus in consideration for the position but are not required.
  4. Previous work experience in a Financial Services Firm is preferred.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, with strong communication, grammar, and computer skills required, as well as great attention to detail. An outgoing personality is a must, so the shy need not apply. Proficiency in eMoney financial planning software will be VERY beneficial and will set candidates apart from other applicants. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must, as well as the suite of other MS Office apps. Familiarity with Morningstar Advisor Workstation and Redtail CRM is helpful but not required.

We emphasize healthy family/work life balance with a very relaxed atmosphere and great office hours (typical office hours are Monday – Thursday 9 – 5, and Friday 9 – 1, with the understanding that from time to time flexibility may be required).
