We are looking for a dedicated Associate Financial Planner to join our dynamic team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for candidates with a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in financial planning. As a key member of our team, you will work with an established client base as part of a Dream Team and contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking firm committed to delivering exceptional service. This role will challenge you to prepare client meeting agendas and materials. Attend and participate in client meetings, presenting portions of the meeting and delivering advice when appropriate.In this role you will begin to cultivate the ability — and embrace the expectation — to proactively anticipate client needs and build genuine, enduring rapport.
Responsibilities:
·Take notes during client meetings and prepare formal correspondence
·Input actions resulting from client meetings into CRM
·Responsible for post meeting follow-ups
·Coordinate and lead team meetings
·Serve as peer-resource
·Provide constructive feedback to lead planners
·Able to clearly articulate our value proposition
·Communicate the firm's financial life planning and investment philosophies
·Support and train interns and FPAs in understanding our firm’s financial planning process and main service lines
·Possess expertise and execute our financial planning process
·Prepare accurate financial planning projections with a deep understanding of assumptions and inputs
·Develop thorough and well-considered financial analysis for presentation to clients
·Understand landscape of profession, products and planning concepts
Skills:
·Practice inquisitive inquiry
·Picking up on emotional cues and communicate with empathy
·Demonstrate confidence in verbal communication, reducing discourse markers and interjections
·Communicate thoughts clearly and concisely.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree
·CFP certification or obtainable with 18 months
·A minimum of two years of experience
