Job Description:

At Regions, the Associate Financial Consultant - Regions Investment Services (RIS) assists Financial Advisors in establishing a portfolio of bank customers based on meeting their financial objectives through sound guidance and advice.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish joint appointments with Financial Advisors and customers
• Work with Financial Advisors to prepare and schedule meetings
• Assist in covering branches without a dedicated Financial Advisor
• Respond to customer and Financial Advisor requests
• Update customer information
• Complete required training modules
• Familiarize and educate oneself with investment products used to meet customers' investment needs
• Demonstrate a customer-focused partnership with branch staff

This position requires tracking time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked over 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

This role is incentive eligible.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six (6) months of related experience

Preferences

• Life Insurance License strongly preferred
• Obtain FINRA registrations including Series 6, 7, 63, 65, or 66

• Ability to engage in a high-touch environment
• Ability to understand customers’ financial standing and goals
• Ability to work towards full licensing within six months or a mutually agreed timeframe

Compensation includes base and variable pay, with total earning potential of $40,000 - $100,000+.

Position Type: Full time

Incentive Pay Plans: Eligible for a commission incentive plan based on performance metrics and goals.
