Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join our advisory team in New Jersey. You will work with lead advisors to deliver comprehensive planning and investment services, actively manage client relationships, and contribute to portfolio analysis and plan development.

You will build relationships, prepare client reviews, and help clients meet retirement, tax, and estate goals while progressing toward full advisory responsibilities within a collaborative, fiduciary-driven

Qualifications

• Active Series 7, 65 or 66, and New Jersey Life and Health license required at time of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in financial planning, asset management, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Springbrook Wealth Advisor service model to support client retention and growth
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients, handling inquiries and service requests
• Prepare for and lead client review meetings, including materials and follow-up
• Proactively identify opportunities to deepen relationships and address new planning needs
• Onboard new clients: account opening, data gathering, and risk profiling
• Build financial plans covering retirement, investment, tax, insurance, and estate planning
• Analyze portfolios and recommend investments aligned with client goals and risk tolerance
• Model financial scenarios and present findings to clients and lead advisors
