The Service Advisor plays a critical role in supporting the advisor and their clients. This position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in the financial services industry. The role involves working closely with Senior Financial Advisors to learn how to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to high-net-worth clients. This role will also provide an opportunity to gain valuable experience in operational back-office procedures, fostering a well-rounded understanding of the wealth management process.

Role and Responsibilities:

Client Service:

  • Assist Senior Advisors in preparing for client meetings, including gathering data, conducting research, and preparing presentations.
  • Participate in client meetings as needed, observing client interactions and learning best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Conduct basic financial planning analyses, including cash flow modeling, retirement planning, and estate planning.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial plans and investment proposals.
  • Research and analyze investment options, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other asset classes.
  • Monitor client portfolios and prepare performance reports.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Prepare and maintain various administrative documents, such as client correspondence and meeting minutes.

Professional Development:

  • Actively pursue professional development opportunities, including industry certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA).
  • Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong interest in financial planning and investment management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with E-Money, Orion, Schwab, and Salesforce a plus.

Proficient in MS Excel.
