Moors & Cabot is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor in Alexandria, VA. This full-time role involves managing client portfolios, developing financial plans, and providing high-quality service. Moors & Cabot is seeking a motivated individual to support the construction and ongoing management of client portfolios and financial plans within an existing practice of approximately $240M of assets under management and producing approximately $1M+ in revenue in our Alexandria, VA branch. Focal points will include security analysis, trading, client communications, and servicing of existing relationships.
Role Description
The Associate Financial Advisor position at Moors & Cabot has a mission to competitively deliver the highest quality service to clients in order to help them achieve their financial goals. The AFA will join an established and successful practice as a partner to help grow, service, and maintain a portion of the book of business. This role will also have the responsibility of servicing their own book they bring over to the firm. Ultimately, this is an outstanding opportunity to grow your own business while working with an experienced, passionate, knowledgeable and high producing advisor.

This full-time role reports to their respective Branch Manager. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM EST. Moors & Cabot offers multiple flexible work arrangements for its employees : remote, hybrid and in-office. This role is eligible for any of these arrangements depending on proximity to a branch and needs.

Compensation
Total Target Compensation Range : $55,000 - $150,000
