Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Associate Financial Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role is critical for identifying new prospects, nurturing client relationships, and building a robust sales pipeline. You will work alongside Lead Advisors, contributing to business development efforts and delivering high-quality financial and investment planning services. A strong understanding of CRM software and financial planning tools is essential for optimizing client interactions and streamlining business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect Development & Lead Generation: Focus on successfully converting supplied qualified leads into clients by engaging with them, understanding their needs, and providing tailored financial solutions. Prioritize developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities, building referral networks, and fostering strong, long-term client relationships.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Utilize CRM software to track interactions, manage client data, and enhance engagement efforts. Maintain regular communication with existing and potential clients to explore investment and planning opportunities.
  3. Financial Planning Support: Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive financial plans using MoneyGuidePro. Work closely with Lead Advisors to analyze client needs and deliver customized solutions.
  4. Collaboration with Lead Advisors: Partner with Lead Advisors to identify opportunities for growth within the existing client base and provide seamless client service.
  5. Client Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up: Prepare financial presentations, generate reports, and ensure timely follow-up on client interactions to enhance meeting effectiveness.
  6. Industry Knowledge & Professional Growth: Stay up to date on industry trends, capital markets, and regulatory changes. Maintain required licenses and designations while actively pursuing professional development opportunities.

Key Competencies & Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum two years of relevant experience in financial planning, investment management, or client relationship management within an RIA, wirehouse, or insurance broker-dealer. Recent graduates with a degree in financial planning and internship experience will also be considered.
  2. Education: A bachelor’s degree is required (Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred).
  3. Licensing: FINRA Series 65 license or willingness to obtain within the first six months of hire.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM platforms such as RedTail and financial planning software is highly preferred.
  5. Client-Centric Mindset: Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
  6. Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and engaging manner to clients and prospects.
  7. Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
