Job summary

Solutech seeks an Associate Field Service Engineer (AFSE) to support deployment and service of critical medical devices. The role emphasizes a structured training plan and a 36-week program designed to prepare you for advancement to an FSE1.

You will gain hands-on experience with Varian TrueBeam, C-Series, and Elekta platforms, participate in field operations and classroom training, and complete periodic assessments to track progress.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills.
• Basic electronics knowledge.
• Troubleshooting ability.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Computer software proficiency (IP/PC tasks).
• Attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Responsibilities

• Participate in field operations as assigned and serve as on-the-job training (OJT) opportunities.
• Study independently and/or as directed to prepare for assignments and rotations.
• Participate in classroom training and OJT activities as directed.
• Maintain professionalism and safety.
• Be timely and punctual for all assignments.
• Report activities via Salesforce, email, expense reports, etc.
• Participate in equipment jobs as assigned.
• Complete the Associate training program and assessments for promotion to FSE1.
