Job summary

Solutech in Omaha, Nebraska seeks an Associate Field Service Engineer (AFSE) to join our team supporting medical devices. You will participate in field operations, on-the-job training, and classroom sessions as you rotate through operations with a 36-week development program and periodic assessments.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Basic electronics knowledge.
• Schematic reading and ability to interpret circuits.
• Troubleshooting with measuring tools such as multimeter/oscilloscope.
• Strong communication with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Participate in field operations and on-the-job training opportunities.
• Study independently and in rotations to prepare for assignments.
• Participate in classroom training and OJT activities.
• Maintain professionalism and safety following guidelines.
• Be timely and punctual for all assignments.
• Dress professionally for the job.
• Report progress via Salesforce, email, and expense reports.
• Assist in equipment jobs as assigned by L&D or Parts Director.
• Complete AFSE training program and assessments for promotion to FSE1; relocation may be required.
