Associate Field Service Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

As an Associate Field Service Engineer, you will install, service, and perform preventative maintenance on medical imaging equipment alongside a team of experienced FSEs.

Founded in 1987 in Charleston, SC, CMS Imaging has grown to include a wide range of diagnostic systems such as MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, and Advanced Fluoroscopic systems. We also offer software solutions including PACS and Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA) to help customers manage and store imaging data.

Requirements

1. Associate's Degree in electronics, Advanced Automation, Mechatronics, or equivalent technical training (military, on-the-job, or technical school).
2. Ability to maintain customer satisfaction for billed, warranty, and contract service.
3. Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast.
4. Professional appearance and attitude to ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Ability to evaluate and complete all assigned service calls.
6. Complete all required paperwork post-service, including regulatory and quality documentation, with customer acknowledgment.
7. Follow up with customers within 48 hours of service to ensure satisfaction.
8. Assist in sourcing repair parts and coordinate with the Customer Support team for orders.
9. Manage shipping priorities for repair parts.
10. Verify that repair parts are ordered and shipped.
11. Install and service equipment, including working with high voltage systems (208V to 480V, 3-phase AC).
12. Use personal radiation monitoring equipment properly.
13. Comply with OSHA and DHEC Radiation Safety regulations.
14. Complete all necessary documentation, including Service Reports, FDA 2579, CMS QC Reports, etc.
