Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking an Associate Executive Director for 8 Early Learning Centers across the Hudson Valley and Capital Regions of New York. This full-time, exempt role is based at our Union Avenue office in New Windsor, NY, and reports to the CEO to streamline daily operations and drive program quality.

The incumbent will develop curricula for Toddler/Preschool, lead trainings, supervise staff, monitor schedules, and oversee payroll and budgets while engaging families and staff to

Qualifications

• Associate degree in ECE or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning.
• 2+ years experience with children under 5 in licensed setting preferred.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
• OCFS regulations familiarity preferred but not required.
• Strong administrative and supervisory skills, payroll familiarity.
• Background check including fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, adapt and implement an early learning curriculum for Toddler and Preschool programs across the organization.
• Lead trainings and ongoing workshops on curriculum development and instructional practice.
• Conduct quarterly observations to ensure staff adhere to the schedule and curriculum.
• Train and observe program staff on caregiver–child interactions.
• Track and report on operational performance and budget.
