Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring an Early Childhood Learning Teacher Assistant for our Poughkeepsie, NY program for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is part-time, non-exempt with a schedule from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

You will collaborate with the School‑Age Childcare Lead to create hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum, communicate with families through the Playground App, and support children's health, safety, and growth in a nurturing,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
