Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an Environmental Compliance professional to support Permian facilities in New Mexico, driving regulatory alignment and LDAR programs. You will contribute to environmental due diligence, provide engineering input, and help implement corrective actions to prevent incidents.

Responsibilities include performing Optical Gas Imaging inspections, reviewing designs and cost estimates for environmental systems, and delivering regulatory guidance to operations and management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of environmental experience in a process industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in HES related field with no relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with no relevant experience.
• Conceptual knowledge of environmental compliance and regulatory framework.
• Valid driver's license required.
• OGI and LDAR experience preferred.

• Conducts regulatory-required monthly Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) inspections across Permian Compression facilities
• Supports leak rechecks to ensure full LDAR compliance
• Provides technical expertise and regulatory guidance to operations and management
• Investigates environmental issues and identifies opportunities for compliance improvement
• Develops corrective actions to prevent recurrence of environmental incidents
• Advises appropriate managers and supervisors of the Company's goals and requirements
• Monitors compliance and directs related reports
• Designs and/or reviews engineering designs and cost estimates for environmental equipment or systems
• Develops environmental information, manuals, training material and programs
• Represents the Company with appropriate trade associations, industry work groups and regulatory agencies

• Conceptual knowledge of environmental compliance and regulatory framework
• Valid driver's license required
• OGI and LDAR experience preferred
