Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Associate Engineering Technician - Onsite position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Pay range: $16.60 - $26.60 per hour

This role involves working in a clean room environment under limited supervision, assisting engineers and scientists in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. The candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing prototypes according to engineering instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototypes/products per design plan
• Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document test results
• Assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services
• Communicate assignment status to project engineers
• Train others on new product processes and procedures
• Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
• Ensure product is tested to the most current/validated method/process and specification and documentation is correctly completed per GLP & QS requirements as applicable

Requirements

• Two-year Technical Degree (i.e., AA, Certificate) and/or equivalent experience
• Bench fixturing/tooling design experience (prototyping, so needs to be good with hands)
• Experience working with external vendors
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skillsAbility to apply a high-level of quality to work
• Ability to multi-task

Desired skills

• 2+ years of technical work experience in medical device development preferred
