Job summary

System One is seeking an Associate Engineering Technician for a contract role in Salt Lake City, UT. You will assemble prototypes, test them per instructions, document results, and work with engineers and external vendors to keep projects moving.

Requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, hands-on prototyping ability, and strong analytical and communication skills. WIllingness to multi-task while ensuring quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree (AA, certificate) or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on bench fixturing/tooling design experience for prototyping.
• Experience working with external vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototypes/products per design plan.
• Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document results.
• Assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services.
• Communicate assignment status to project engineers.
• Train others on new product processes and procedures.
• Build quality into all work by complying with quality requirements.
• Ensure testing methods/processes and documentation meet GLP & QS standards.
• Support engineers/scientists in development and analysis activities.
