Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Engineer- Injection Molding in Jacksonville, FL to support development and design of manufacturing processes and equipment under supervision.

The role requires a engineering degree with 4–6+ years experience (BS optional with more years), experience in medical devices preferred, strong communication and project management skills, and adherence to environmental and Credo-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• 4-6+ years' relevant engineering experience without a BS degree.
• 0-2+ years' engineering experience required with BS Degree.
• 0-1+ years' experience required with advanced technical degree.
• Prior experience working for a Medical Device company preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan and execute projects related to the development and design of processes, equipment and facilities.
• Assist with qualification of new equipment and with vendor and site acceptance testing.
• Assist in the preparation of equipment specifications, HECP, SOP, JSA, calibration and maintenance procedures.
• Interface with other departments of the organization to clarify requirements and objectives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
