Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Engineer- Injection Molding in Jacksonville, FL to support development and design of processes, equipment and facilities within our Vision R&D team. This role collaborates across departments to ensure product quality, efficiency and safety in a fast-paced medical device environment.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, plus 4–6+ years of relevant experience; strong communication and project management skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 4–6+ years of engineering experience without BS degree.
• 0-2+ years’ engineering experience required with BS Degree.
• 0-1+ years’ experience required with advanced technical degree.
• Prior experience working for a Medical Device company preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan and execute projects related to development and design of processes, equipment and facilities.
• Assist with qualification of new equipment and with vendor and site acceptance testing.
• Assist in preparation of equipment specifications, HECP, SOP, JSA, calibration and maintenance procedures.
• Interface with other departments to clarify requirements and objectives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
