Pickett, an ESP Associates company in Lakewood, CO, seeks an Associate Engineer to provide entry-level engineering on high-voltage transmission projects. You will assist with line routing, PLS-CADD modeling, foundation design, and permitting, while coordinating with vendors and subcontractors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (EI/EIT preferred), 1+ year of related experience, and knowledge of NESC/IEEE/ASCE/ACI standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required (ABET preferred).
• EI/EIT certification is preferred.
• 1+ year of transmission line engineering experience.
• Familiarity with NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI standards.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and sketches.
• Demonstrated safe work practices and driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Learn design criteria for HV transmission projects.
• Build design models using PLS-CADD.
• Develop and analyze foundation designs.
• Evaluate clearance and structural utilization.
• Prepare work packages and estimation of hours.
• Manage multiple tasks across projects.
• Support permitting and vendor coordination.
