Job summary

Insight Enterprises Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Associate Engineer dedicated to deploying tools to manage and monitor new client service transitions. You will work with senior engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure deployments go live smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years IT experience with Linux and Windows.
• 1-2 years of experience administering enterprise monitoring systems.
• Cisco networking experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of SNMP.
• Understanding of Windows Remote Management (WinRM) and Active Directory is highly desired.
• Scripting experience with Python and PowerShell is highly desired.
• VMware and NetApp experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, test and deploy cost-efficient, flexible, highly available solutions.

This position involves working closely with senior engineers, project managers, and our clients to insure successful deployment, and documentation of our clients environment prior to the service going live. The engineer will be extremely proficient with all tools our business uses to deliver the service.
