Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the Transformer Business Unit on strategic customer projects across North American manufacturing sites.

The role partners with experienced PMs to coordinate schedules, budgets, and quality while ensuring successful delivery of commitments that energize industries and communities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, align resources across factories, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• CAPM certification preferred; willingness to obtain Hitachi Energy APM certification within 2 years.
• Experience working with remote teams across multiple sites and vendors.
• Knowledge of transformer manufacturing or North American energy sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to support clear goals, tasks, and timelines.
• Coordinate scope, scheduling, budgeting, and quality to meet customer expectations.
• Partner with the lead Project Manager as a primary customer contact and assist with escalations.
• Align resources across factories and service teams for smooth project delivery.
• Maintain documentation, support risk management, and uphold compliance standards.
• Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
