Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. seeks a Power Transformers Project Manager to lead complex initiatives across North American factory networks. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, manage milestones, and ensure delivery of high-value solutions while reporting to the Director of the Program Management Office - HUB North America.

You will coordinate resources, manage risk, and oversee documentation to maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or related field
• PMP preferred; Hitachi Energy PM certification required within 2 years
• Proven ability to lead remote teams across multiple locations
• Experience managing scope, cost, schedule, and vendor relationships
• Familiarity with SAP, MS Project, Excel, and other PM tools

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams with clear goals, timelines, and feedback.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality to meet customer expectations.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources across factories and service teams.
• Oversee project documentation and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project execution to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
• Support contract negotiations and claims resolution.
• Build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
