Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Associate Missions Systems Software Engineer – Embedded in Berkeley, Missouri to join the Mission Systems Software team. The role spans requirements, architecture, implementation, and testing of safety- and mission-critical flight software in an Agile CI/CD environment.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and validating embedded software for specialized hardware, integrating with hardware, and ensuring compliance to safety and industry standards. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Ability to acquire a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (Post-Start).
• 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience programming with Go, Java, C/C++, Rust, or Python.
• Experience in systems integration with systems engineering processes and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written skills, teaming skills, technical skills, and integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, debugs and maintains embedded software for devices and systems.
• Translates customer requirements into embedded software designs.
• Builds and writes code for embedded systems on specialized hardware.
• Integrates embedded software with hardware components.
• Analyzes, monitors and improves the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
• Tests and debugs software for embedded devices and systems.
• Advises on software and hardware integration domains and ensures compliance to project plans.
