Job summary

Moog Space and Defense Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to perform conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex electronics for NASA, military, and space applications. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), ability to obtain a U.S.

Security Clearance, and onsite work in East Aurora, NY; remote candidates will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Onsite work in East Aurora, NY; remote candidates will not be considered.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team-oriented environment to innovate.
• Use CAD software to create schematics, layouts, and models.
• Validate solutions with trade studies and analyses.
• Perform design analysis (signal integrity, stress, deratings).
• Create development test procedures for designs at circuit card, box, system levels.
• Document designs and test results clearly.
• Participate in failure investigations of hardware.
• Provide work estimates to support new proposals.
