Moog Space and Defense Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to perform conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex electronics for NASA, military, and space applications. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), ability to obtain a U.S.

Security Clearance, and onsite work in East Aurora, NY; remote candidates will not be considered.

Job Title: Associate Electrical Design Engineer. Reporting To: Management, Design Engineering. Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY. Moog Space and Defense Group is looking for an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to perform the conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex electronics used on NASA, military, and commercial space applications. You will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager in the Actuation Systems business unit. This position requires a high degree of foresight and creativity to anticipate and solve unprecedented engineering problems.

What you’ll need to bring with you:

• Bachelor Science in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred) or related field
• Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Self‑motivated, critical thinking and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work onsite in East Aurora, NY (remote candidates will not be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with circuit modelling and simulation
• Experience with schematic capture and printed circuit board layout (Allegro Capture CIS, PCB Editor preferred)
• Familiarity with analog and mixed signal circuit design

Responsibilities:

• Work in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment that fosters knowledge sharing and innovation.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $75,000.00–$100,000.00 Annually
