Job summary

Moog Space and Defense Group seeks an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical designs for space and defense applications. You will create schematics, layouts, and simulations, perform trade studies, and document analyses and test results for hardware at circuit card, box, and system levels.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, and onsite work in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Onsite work in East Aurora, NY; remote work not offered.
• Experience with circuit modelling and simulation.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to develop electrical designs.
• Create detailed schematics, layouts, and simulation models using CAD.
• Conduct trade studies and design analyses for robustness.
• Perform signal integrity, stress, and derating analyses.
• Develop test procedures for circuits, boxes, and systems.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results clearly.
• Assist in hardware failure investigations and proposals.
