Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Layton, UT is hiring an Associate Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer. You will analyze existing designs, troubleshoot issues, and develop detailed designs while supporting testing and data analysis across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical) or related field.
2+ years of related work experience.
Experience with lab electronic testing tools (DMM, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators).
Experience troubleshooting electrical issues.
Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data and draw conclusions.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing designs and troubleshoot issues to return units to a functional state.
Maintain detailed requirements and specifications for electronic products.
Develop detailed designs of limited scope.
Conduct testing and analysis to support design.
Gather data for performance measures and perform basic analysis.
Provide lifecycle engineering support for the product.
Conduct trade studies and literature research to inform future designs.
