Job summary

PetVet365 in Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team and provide Fear Free medical, surgical, and dental care for patients. You will learn through apprenticeship-style mentorship with partner doctors across the full spectrum of care, building confidence and clinical expertise.

As part of our collaborative network, you’ll diagnose, treat, and educate clients while expanding your skills and pursuing leadership or ownership opportunities through our Partner Doctor model.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and Colorado license to practice.
• Strong communication and client education skills.
• Commitment to Fear Free, patient welfare, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Fear Free medical, surgical, and dental care tailored to each patient.
• Participate in apprenticeship-style mentorship with partner doctors.
• Diagnose and treat cases across general practice, dentistry, and surgery.
• Explain treatment options empathetically to clients.
• Mentor veterinary technicians and foster a growth-focused culture.
• Collaborate with leadership to review performance and growth.

What You'll Do

• Deliver compassionate, Fear Free medical, surgical, and dental care, with the time and support to treat each patient based on their individual needs.
• Grow through an apprenticeship-style mentorship model, learning side by side with partner doctors across the full spectrum of care, building confidence and clinical expertise.
• Diagnose and treat cases in general practice, dentistry, surgery, and preventive wellness while continuing to expand your skillset through CE and leadership development opportunities.
• Communicate clearly with clients, presenting treatment options with empathy and transparency to strengthen the doctor-client bond.
• Mentor and collaborate with veterinary technicians, fostering a positive and growth-oriented hospital culture.
• Partner with hospital leadership to review performance, improve processes, and grow the practice as part of a collaborative network.
