Job summary

The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences seeks a Senior DPT Program Director to lead the flex expansion and delivery of curriculum in alignment with program goals at the St. Augustine, FL campus.

This campus-based role offers a flexible work arrangement with on-campus and virtual teaching responsibilities to support the DPT Flex program, along with administrative leadership for academic operations.

Qualifications

• State licensed (or eligible) physical therapist in academic program.
• Advanced doctoral degree or terminal doctorate with scholarship/services.
• Proven leadership ability.
• Experience teaching in remote/online learning environments using LMS and virtual tech.
• Graduate level education administration preferred.
• Proven organizational, time management and delegation skills.
• Data analysis and student outcomes skills.
• Collaboration and team-building experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies to achieve program goals.
• Collect and furnish outcome data for the program.
• Participate in Program Director Council and policy development.
• Oversee core and contributing faculty in the professional program.
• Train, develop, and supervise core faculty.
• Recruit and hire contributing faculty and lab assistants.
• Oversee local clinical education office responsibilities and development.
• Coordinate with facility managers and student services for satisfaction and communication.
• Plan and participate in program events; assist budget development.
• Supervise students and address complaints or misconduct.
• Manage teaching workload not exceeding 0.5 FTE.
• Engage in service and scholarly activities.
• Participate in marketing and university representation.
