Job summary

Osborn Engineering seeks an Associate Director of Water Resources in Pittsburgh, PA and Detroit, MI to lead site development and water resources projects. You will manage multi‑discipline teams, client relations, and permitting while coordinating with managers and directors.

You will oversee design, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery across diverse projects in utilities, development, and environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of civil/site development design experience.
• Civil engineering calculation experience (stormwater, water/sewer hydraulics).
• Experience with design software: ICPR, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site development design projects on time, in scope, and on budget.
• Manage professional service contracts and subconsultant agreements.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and invoices.
• Develop and foster client relationships and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure QA/QC processes and regulatory compliance for projects.
