The role is part of our RTX Corporate team. We seek a strategic and results-oriented Travel Commodity Leader to oversee global travel sourcing and supplier management. Responsibilities include RFP execution, contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and conflict resolution across air travel, hotels, car rentals, and TMCs. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, industry knowledge, and technical skills to drive data-informed decisions and process improvements.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead sourcing activities, including RFP development and execution for global travel services.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
  • Monitor supplier performance with KPIs, SLAs, and benchmarking tools.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations to align travel policies with procurement strategies.
  • Manage billing disputes, contract issues, and service concerns.
  • Utilize digital tools to analyze spend and performance data for insights.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies.
  • Promote sustainability by partnering with environmentally responsible travel suppliers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field, with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Success leading RFPs and negotiating large-scale travel contracts, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Ability to lead teams in a matrixed organization, influencing without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical skills for complex data insights.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Work Location:

This is a remote role. The salary range is $147,000 - $295,000, based on experience and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), flexible schedules, and more. Incentive programs may also be available.
