Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Medical Affairs/MSL professional to build relationships with dermatology experts and generate strategic insights. You will coordinate compliant engagements, educate peers, and support advisory boards and congress activities across CA-OR-WA-HI, with 60–80% travel and a valid driver’s license.

The role requires 5+ years in MSL/engagements, strong CRM/analytic skills, and cross-functional collaboration, plus MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in Thought Leader/Medical Expert engagement or related pharma/biotech role.
  • Reside in Los Angeles, CA area; CA, OR, WA, HI territory; 60–80% travel; valid driver's license.
  • Proven compliant relationship-building with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Strong field-based marketing/engagement, insight generation, peer-to-peer education, congress planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience with CRM/digital engagement/insight capture tools.
  • Financial/budget acumen; commitment to compliance and ethical decision‑making.

Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits (per posting)
  • Salary range: $145,600–$270,400/year. Performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity.
