Associate Director – Technology

Job summary

Jobtailor in Maryland is seeking a senior technology leader responsible for directing teams delivering high quality project results and enabling business value. You will oversee budgeting, vendor negotiations, and implementation of best practices across delivery, security, and operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS or related field with 5+ years managing programs and at least 3 years supervising teams and budgets, with preference for a Master’s and FS industry experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
• At least five (5) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience
• Master’s degree and past Financial Services industry experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of managing technical programs and/or processes
• Management of at least four (4) resources and budget of at least $1 million annually
• Knowledge of business, technology and management principles
• Direct project experience in strategy, software development, operations, engineering, development services, information security, and/or compliance
• Extensive knowledge of industry leading technology best practices including familiarity with technology methodologies including ISO-9000, ITIL, Agile
