Job summary

Verizon Communications seeks an Associate Director, Business Systems Analysis in a hybrid role with locations in Basking Ridge, NJ; Irving, TX; or Miami, FL. You will lead principal engineers, build strong cross-functional partnerships across business and technical teams, and ensure requirements meet strategic goals.

You will own architectural and UX requirements, manage vendor relationships, and guide a multi-year technology roadmap while collaborating with Sales Operations to drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of comparable work experience.
• Eight or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience managing complex programs and projects with technical and system requirements.
• Experience working with consumer customer-facing channels such as Indirect, Retail, Digital, Customer Service, and/or Inside Sales.
• Proficient with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Asana and Slack.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of principal engineers to support the development of new product builds and enhancements.
• Oversee systems vendor management and integration planning.
• Manage a multi-year roadmap for technology solutions and product enhancements.
• Develop internal and external communications for enhancements and updates, collaborating with Sales Operations teams.
• Balance stakeholder needs against short/medium/long term strategic business objectives.
• Own the development of detailed architectural and user-experience requirements, including Jira stories, requirements vetting, stakeholder reviews, grooming and testing.
