Job summary

Columbia University in the City of New York's School of Professional Studies is seeking an Associate Director of Student Wellbeing & Support to provide non-clinical case management, referrals, crisis intervention, and preventative wellbeing programming for students across SPS.

The role reports to the Assistant Dean of Student Wellbeing & Support and oversees wellness services for Pre-College Programs, including the summer residential experience serving nearly 1,000 high school students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree desirable.
• 4 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-clinical case management and direct support to students navigating wellbeing concerns.
• Serve on CARE Team on-call rotation; triage concerns and coordinate referrals.
• Oversee SPS emergency fund applications and withdrawals for medical reasons.
• Supervise Pre-College wellness staff and interns; train staff on wellbeing topics.
• Develop and assess preventive education initiatives related to student wellbeing.
• Maintain FERPA-compliant records and contribute to annual wellbeing reporting.
