Oliver James Group in Dallas is seeking a Director to advance CFO-level standards within diverse project exposures and mentoring programs.

The successful candidate will bring CPA, 8+ years of experience in Audit/Assurance or Deals/FDD, plus 4+ years in industry accounting/finance, with excellent communication to C-Suite and a proven self-starter mindset. Travel optional; BD not required. This is a high-impact, fast-moving leadership role.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters preferred.
• CPA certification.
• 8+ years of experience; 4+ years in Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD in Public Accounting (Big 4/Top 10 preferred).
• 4+ years of Industry experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Communicate effectively with C-Suite level individuals.
• Self-starter capable of working as IC or in a team.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Adapt to changing tech environments (AI, RPA).

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• 8+ years of experience needed:
• 4+ years of experience within Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD, within a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred - Experience with large, Public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD)
• 4+ years of Industry Experience, with progression - in Accounting or Finance capacity
• High degree of professionalism required- including the ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals.
• Self starter, who can thrive as an Individual Contributor, or in a team-based environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing technological environments (AI, RPA etc.)
