Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a qualified accounting professional for an Advisory role focused on Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD within a public accounting context. The client firm values CPA background, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and experience with high-value transactions.

Candidates should have 4+ years' experience with large public filers, be able to communicate with C-Suite, and thrive as an individual contributor or in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters preferred.
• CPA certification preferred or in process.
• 4+ years in Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD in Public Accounting (Big 4/Top 10 preferred).
• Experience with large public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High-Value Transactions (Deals/FDD).
• High degree of professionalism; ability to communicate with C-Suite executives.
• Self-starter; can thrive as an IC or in a team-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies (AI, RPA).

Our client is a large, established Advisory firm that have placed significant capital behind their Accounting & Transaction Advisory sector expansion this year. If you've got a Public Accounting background, but want to expand that knowledge & experience with a firm devoted to developing & progressing their people, this ones for you. Whether you're an External Auditor, with strong Financial Statement experience, or a current Deals/FDD/TAS professional who is a Databook whiz, this firm should be on your radar.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree preferred
