Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced software development leader to direct design and architecture of cloud-based and container solutions for the Dispensing Pyxis Software R&D enterprise platform. This REMOTE position reports to the Director of Software Product Development and focuses on all software functions contributing to the Pyxis enterprise software platform, supporting a revenue of over $1B.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of multi-tenant, cloud-based architectures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development processes.
• Ensure software architectures meet industry standards, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements, including FDA classifications for medical devices.
• Plan and oversee the evolution of software tools and technologies within MMS cloud infrastructure.
• Promote best practices in automation, code standardization, and systems monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and accelerate project delivery.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Experience with IoT deployment paradigms.
• Proficiency in cloud applications (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container solutions (Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless).
• Experience with CI/CD automation and configuration management tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, Chef, Ansible).
• Background in regulated healthcare environments, including FDA medical device software and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Skills

• AWS CDK, Jenkins, additional cloud management expertise.

Additional Information

Compensation

Salary range: $169,800 - $280,300 USD annually, based on experience and location.
