Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director to lead regional site contracting governance and strategy. You will steer negotiations, establish global standards, and guide a team of negotiators across Legal, Finance, and Operations.

You will own governance docs and SOPs, monitor portfolio performance, and push innovative risk-mitigated contracting processes. Up to 20% travel may be required, with hybrid onsite work as applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of leadership in clinical or site contract governance.
• Expertise in global standards, compliance, and SOP alignment.

Job description

Role:

Associate Director of Site Contracting Governance & Strategy, providing strategic leadership for regional site contracting functions within biopharma operations.

Responsibilities:

• oversee negotiations, complex legal and budget escalations, develop global contracting standards, and shape regional contracting strategy.
• Lead a team of experienced negotiators, manage high-risk escalations in legal, financial, and contractual areas, and ensure enterprise-wide compliance and governance.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Legal, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders
• own governance documentation, SOPs, and knowledge management
• monitor portfolio performance
• spearhead innovation in contracting processes and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law, Business, or Life Sciences
