Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of SAIL and ensure smooth delivery of simulations.
  • Oversee scheduling, coordination, and implementation of client and curricular programs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement for resources.
  • Monitor budgeting, billing, and cost tracking; report to Executive Director.
  • Ensure activities follow best practice standards and ethics.
  • Support staff development, engagement, and wellness.
  • Collaborate with Executive Director on strategic initiatives.
  • Work with clients on project implementation planning.
  • Perform other duties and participate in projects as assigned.

Position Summary

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Simulation and Integrative Learning Institute (SAIL), including staff, delegation of work, training, planning, policy development, budget, and finances.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Leads the day-to-day operations of Simulation and Integrative Learning Institute (SAIL), ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of human-based and technology-based simulation programs.
  • Oversees scheduling, coordination, and implementation of client and curricular programs, balancing resources with organizational priorities.
  • Manages vendor relationships and procurement processes for technical, material, and service resources.
  • Monitors financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and cost tracking, and provides regular updates to the Executive Director.
  • Ensures simulation activities are designed and implemented in accordance with recognized standards of best practice and established codes of ethics.
  • Supports staff development, engagement, and wellness, fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.
  • Collaborates with the Executive Director and leadership team on select initiatives and projects, providing operational insights to inform strategic planning.
  • Works with clients on project implementation planning.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Biological Sciences, Theater/Theater Arts of a related field.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as additional relevant software tools that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Possesses a minimum of 8 years of prior experience in managerial or supervisory roles, specifically overseeing a simulation team comprising at least 10 direct reports. Expert in fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment, driving innovation, and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals. Adept at analyzing performance metrics and utilizing feedback to enhance training modules and simulation processes.
