Job summary

OuterBox, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, SEO Specialist to lead the SEO team, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure high-quality delivery on client engagements and new business opportunities.

You will partner with Web, Dev, UX, and PM teams to execute technical and tactical SEO work, conduct audits, support pre-sales, and scale the department to meet growth goals. This role is fully remote within the United States and participates in strategic planning with the SEO Operations

Qualifications

5–7+ years of SEO experience including technical audits and pre-launch SEO.
Experience managing a team of managers/leads and coordinating across groups.
Proven success in pre-sales support, audits, and client pitches.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication for client-facing settings.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day management of the SEO Specialist team, prioritizing requests.
Directly manage Leads and Specialists, overseeing staffing and timelines.
Mentor pre-launch SEO for web projects and ensure on-schedule deliverables.
Coordinate with Web/Dev/UX/PM teams for pre-launch SEO and launches.
Lead SEO audits, scoping, resourcing, and quality standards across the department.
Lead pre-sales SEO support including audits and technical scoping for proposals.
Oversee delivery of signed SEO products from kickoff to completion.
Plan team capacity with the Director of SEO Operations and communicate needs.
Set SOPs and QA standards; act as escalation point for complex issues.
Collaborate with SEO Strategists, Content, UX, Dev, Sales, and Media teams.
