Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Safety Scientist in Florham Park, NJ to support product safety across the lifecycle by detecting signals, evaluating risks, and preparing summaries for senior management and regulatory authorities.

You will partner with safety and clinical teams to analyze data, contribute to risk minimization plans, and author sections of critical safety documents while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Requires a health sciences degree and relevant pharma or safety experience.
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience with safety data review, signal assessment, and regulatory reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety surveillance across product lifecycle using trial data, databases, and literature.
• Collaborate with safety and clinical teams to assess signals and respond to regulatory requests.
• Prepare safety sections for CSRs, CSMS, and risk management plans; support senior management and regulatory interactions.
