Job summary

Johns Hopkins University seeks an Associate Director of Residential Facilities to lead the On-Campus Living program. You will supervise staff, coordinate with JHFRE and USS, and help develop capital plans for all residential facilities.

Also responsible for access control, security policies, and safety programs across residence halls. With a focus on collaboration and customer service, you will guide operations, manage budgets, and ensure timely completion of maintenance and capital projects in

Qualifications

Master's degree required.
Minimum five years of related experience in residential life or higher education preferred.
Experience with facilities management systems and contract coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise professional staff and manage training and onboarding for new leaders.
Coordinate with JHFRE and USS on capital planning and risk management.
Develop and implement policies for access, security, and card access in residence halls.
Oversee maintenance planning, bids, and life-cycle tracking of furniture and appliances.
Lead fire drills, safety checks, and compliance with safety procedures across all residence halls.
Collaborate across On-Campus Living and university committees to ensure service quality.
