Job summary

The University at Buffalo's Primary Care Research Institute seeks an Associate Director of Research Development to expand funding by identifying opportunities, coordinating proposal development, and supporting investigators in creating competitive submissions.

You will work with PCRI leadership and community partners to align pursuits with sponsor requirements, manage budgets, and help advance the research mission through successful grant submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management, education, public health, epidemiology, or research related field.
• Five years qualified experience in health planning, grant development, or research.
• Experience must include demonstrated people skills.
• Working understanding of research design principles.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, evaluates, and disseminates funding opportunities aligned with priorities.
• Leads coordination of proposal development among PCRI investigators and teams.
• Collaborates to support project planning, budgets, and justifications for proposals.
• Coordinates preparation, review, and submission of grant and contract proposals.
• Assists in identifying partnerships to support funding opportunities.
