Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of related, transferable experience and a bachelor’s degree.
• Familiarity with a broad range of research techniques, including print and online research, electronic databases, and interviewing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing, spelling and grammar, with the ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on individuals, corporations, and foundations using diverse sources.
• Prepare confidential biographical and financial profiles for development staff and leadership.
• Rate the giving capacity of individual prospects and support portfolio prioritization.
• Lead prospect management and research initiatives and participate in portfolio reviews with frontline staff.
