Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in New York, NY seeks an Associate Director to lead major programs, manage delivery teams, and drive profitability and client satisfaction. The role oversees cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and risk across regional or global portfolios.

You will establish procedures, run monthly reviews with senior leadership, and advance automation and analytics to improve reporting and oversight. Travel may be required; strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in field such as Engineering, Construction, Project Management or Quantity Surveying.
• 12-15 years of relevant project and team management experience.
• Accreditations from AACE, PMI or RICS are desirable.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and communication skills.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and cost modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop project budgets using consistent methodology and risk assessments.
• Validate forecasts, accruals, and cashflow across active projects.
• Oversee end-to-end cost management for regional/global portfolios.
• Establish cost management standards and reporting frameworks.
• Lead monthly operational reviews with senior leadership.
• Oversee KPIs, service performance and continuous improvement.
