Job summary

Cresset is hiring an Associate Director, Private Wealth Client Services in New York with 5+ years of managing private banking needs for UHNW clients. You will be a primary client contact, collaborate with portfolio managers, and drive retention and growth by delivering a superior experience.

The role requires leading onboarding, asset transfers, consented investment strategies, and close coordination with CPAs and attorneys.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years financial services experience with ultra-high net worth clients.
  • Knowledge of Fidelity and Schwab custodial platforms a plus.
  • Operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, discretion, and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships on multi-custodial platforms.
  • Lead client onboarding, investment implementation, and private banking services.
  • Create and implement customized onboarding for high net-worth clients.
  • Transfer and reconcile assets from contra firms.
  • Implement new investment strategies and hire managers as directed by advisor.
  • Prepare client subscription and redemption documents for alternative investments.
  • Manage client billing and inquiries regarding inflows/outflows.
  • Establish lines of credit/margin and attend quarterly client reviews.
  • Liaise between Cresset and client CPAs/attorneys; facilitate tax documents.

Job Description

Cresset is seeking an Associate Director, Private Wealth Client Services with 5+ years of experience managing the administrative and private banking needs for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clientele. The candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for clients and collaborate with a portfolio manager to build strong relationships and to drive retention and growth by providing a superior experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships on multi-custodial platforms
  • Serve as a primary lead for client onboarding, investment implementation, and private banking services
  • Create and implement customized onboarding experience for high net-worth clients
  • Transfer and reconcile assets from contra firms
  • Implement new investment strategies and hire managers as directed by advisor
  • Prepare client subscription and redemption documents related to alternative investments
  • Manage client billing (assign attributes, start/end dates, raising cash)
  • Assist with client inquiries regarding inflow and outflows
  • Establish lines of credit/margin
  • Attend quarterly client portfolio review meetings as needed (FO)
  • Serve as a liaison between Cresset and client CPA’s and attorneys (FO)
  • Manage tax document facilitation with client CPA’s (FO)
  • Identify new technology and opportunities to enhance client experience and promote internal scalability
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ plus years’ financial services experience working with ultra-high net worth clients
  • Knowledge of Fidelity and Schwab custodial platforms a plus
  • Operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential

What We Offer:

Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licenses/certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location.
