Further, this role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise to drive successful relationships with both internal groups at Regeneron as well as external KOLs. Oncology programs comprise nearly half of the overall growing Regeneron development portfolio, including novel modalities, targets and combination therapies.

In this role, a typical day might include:

  2. Providing strategic leadership and gaining broad, cross-functional alignment of biomarker strategies.
  3. Developing strategic vision and leading implementation for clinical biomarkers that will broadly enable advances in target identification, indication selection, early indication of biological activity and patient stratification/selection.
  4. Oversight and management of Precision Medicine deliverables for the overall oncology portfolio; responsible for end to end, high-quality implementation and execution of strategy by collaborating with other Precision Medicine functions, including CDx, laboratory operations and Quantitative Translational Sciences.
  5. Collaboration with Oncology Research and product development teams to facilitate appropriate incorporation of Precision Medicine strategies for molecules in discovery phases (leading to candidate molecule selection) and to further clinical development in Oncology.
  6. Accountability for ensuring that biomarker assays are fit-for-purpose (whether developed and validated internally or externally).
  7. Collaborating with internal Regeneron functional groups (including Discovery Research, Molecular Profiling, Regeneron Genetics Center, DNAcore, BioAnalysis, etc.) to develop plan for validation and application of research assays.

This role might be for you if:

  1. You possess high emotional intelligence, organizational skills and effective team leadership skills.
  2. You have the ability to drive, manage, complete and deliver results for complex multi-functional projects.
  3. You thrive in a matrixed environment by effectively collaborating across multiple teams and departments, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills to achieve common goals.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have: Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree with post-doctoral experience and 5-10 years pharmaceutical industry experience, including clinical biomarker experience.
