Job summary

ASU EdPlus in Scottsdale, AZ seeks an Associate Director of Project Management to lead the PMO and supervise a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers. You will guide complex, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring delivery excellence by aligning work with strategic priorities and coaching staff to mature their practice.

You will partner with leadership to promote governance, leverage Jira for planning and reporting, and advance PMO processes across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience in the field, including two (2) years in management.
Experience leading and developing project management professionals.
Demonstrated ability to manage large, cross-functional initiatives with strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

Lead complex cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation.
Develop project plans, manage scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies.
Partner with leadership to prioritize work and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Advance the PMO framework with governance, tools, and best practices.
Coach Project Managers in applying appropriate methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes and reporting.
