Job summary

Adelphi Research is seeking a Qualitative Associate Director to lead the design, management, and delivery of high-impact qualitative research projects for the pharmaceutical sector. You will guide multi-project work, moderate in-depth interviews and focus groups, and produce compelling reports while partnering with clients to translate insights into strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree essential; advanced education preferred.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a market researcher in the pharmaceutical industry.
Deep understanding of market research needs of pharma/biotech products in various product life cycle stages (Phase 2–4, pre-launch, in-line/mature).
Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment on large projects.

Responsibilities

Design, management, and delivery of all aspects of superior custom qualitative research projects.
Work on and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
Expert in moderating telephone/in-person in-depth interviews and focus groups.
Writing ability to author report deliverables.
Partner with clients to find creative solutions addressing key business issues; nurture relationships.
Participate in new business development with responsibility for annual sales/profitability target.
In person client travel is required.
